TradeWinds Asset Management, LLC respects the privacy of the people who visit this website and the clients who entrust us with their information. This notice explains what we collect and what we do with it.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you write in a contact or workshop request form.
• Information collected automatically. Standard server and analytics data such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate location derived from IP address, and browser type.
• Assessment responses. Answers you give in the retirement readiness assessment are stored in your own browser session and are not transmitted to us unless you choose to contact us afterward.

Clients provide substantially more information in the course of an advisory relationship. That information is governed by our client-facing privacy policy, delivered at account opening and annually thereafter under Regulation S-P.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, schedule a meeting, and deliver the services you ask for. We use automatically collected information to understand which pages are useful and to keep the site working.

What we don't do

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We disclose information only to service providers who help us operate the firm and the site, under obligations of confidentiality, or where the law requires it.

Sensitive information

Please do not send account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive personal information through this website's forms or by ordinary email. If we need that information, we will provide a secure channel for it.

Your choices

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to the recordkeeping obligations that apply to registered investment advisers. Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to know what categories of personal information we have collected and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing, neither of which we do.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technologies to measure traffic. If you begin the retirement assessment, your answers are held in your browser's session storage so that refreshing the page does not lose them; they are discarded when you close the tab. You can block or delete this data in your browser settings and the site will still work, though an assessment in progress will reset.

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this notice. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date.
